ABOUT PILOT DAY
PILOT Day, (short for Preparation in the Life of a Transfer Day), is a day that allows newly admitted students to experience UCLA first hand before Bruin Day. By attending PILOT Day, students will get to interact with both current and future UCLA transfers, network with student representatives from different transfer student organizations on campus, exploring campus resources and attend informative workshops that ease the community college transition to UCLA.

1. I want to attend PILOT Day. Where do I RSVP?
If you would like to attend PILOT Day, you can do so on the UCLA admissions website. Spots are first come first serve, so we urge you to RSVP as soon as possible.
2. When’s the deadline to register?
The deadline to RSVP or change your RSVP status is May 7th, 2017 at 11:59pm PST. If you cannot attend PILOT Day for any reason, please change your RSVP status accordingly so that we can take people on the waiting list.
3. What is Bruin Day? Can I still attend PILOT Day if I RSVP to Bruin Day?
Bruin Day is an organized UCLA event for admitted students and their families to explore UCLA. PILOT Day is a student organization initiated event. We recommend you to RSVP to BOTH events so you can get the most out of UCLA. You will have a guaranteed spot as long as you RSVPed for PILOT Day.
4. I cannot RSVP to PILOT Day because the spots are filled up. What can I do?
You can sign up for our waiting list by clicking here. Your chances of being able to attend PILOT Day depend on your position on our list and whether students change their RSVP status. You are welcome to be physically present at UCLA on the day of PILOT Day, but entry to PILOT Day is not guaranteed.
5. I am not from the LA area, but I still want to attend PILOT Day. What can I do?
Shoot us an email at tsabruins@gmail.com with your full name, the community college you are transferring from, and your UCLA UID, and we will send this information to UCLA admissions so that you can RSVP to our event and get your name on our list. If our RSVP list is full by the time we receive your email, we will put you on the waiting list according to the time you sent the email request. Please note that we DO NOT provide any transportation or accommodations, so please make sure you have made arrangements on your own.
6. What should I bring to PILOT Day?
We reccomend you bring a notepad, and pen to take notes during our workshops, but the following forms are required and will be collected at the sign in booth:
